What are UI and UX? Difference between UI and UX | UI vs UX.

You can find many blogs on this topic that what is UI and what is UX or what are differences between the UI and UX. But today here I will show some examples that help you to understand the basic difference between UI and UX.

Before that first understand the definition.

What is UI?

User Interface (UI) is the visual part of a software application or a hardware device that determines how a user interacts with an application or a website and how information is displayed on the screen.

What is UX?

The user interacts product. User Experience (UX) design is the science and art of designing a product so that it's easy to use - fits expectations and - meets business goals.

Now let's discuss it practically.

Example 1

as we see the example 1, the UX is the part where we focus on the research, usability testing, and personal behavior. And UI is the part where we mainly focus on how the user would interact with the design, colors, layouts, typography, etc.

Example 2:

now, here we take an example of the human body. As we clearly notice that the human skeleton is represented as UX because it shows the wireframing, structure of the human body. And the body with mass is represented as UI.

Example 3:

I think most people found this problem in their life. The old ketchup bottle looks good but when it comes to usability, we found it hard. But in the case of the new one, although UI is not good, but the usability is good. Because it clearly focuses on the UX part.

So what is the difference?

UI is part of UX because it affects the overall experience.

UX is the final outcome, is everything that affects your experience as a user.
